I gotta keep remining myself how this engine is meant to be programmed in the first place. Well:

Basically you're working with hot code all the time, this could be an issue for things that are not complete in 1 action and I'll get to that in a minute. You create figments froma catelogue (which you can extend by opening addons), and then us their commands to change values, as well as link to other figments (depending on the command).

Because everything, from commands to plug tags have string names, these should be visible to the editor (once its working).

There are 2 layers when editing the program: the program itself and the display layer. So when you make a figment it creates a 'face' figment which lets you see and manipulate it.
